César became a teacher to help children maximize their potential, become resilient and be prepared for their involvement in society. In his teaching at CEIP Puerta de Sancho in Zaragoza he follows the approach that it is not helpful to fixate on getting children to learn – rather, he wants to stimulate curiosity and give them the space to learn of their own accord.

In addition to other awards, César was the recipient of the Ministry of Culture’s ‘CreArte’ award for encouraging creativity for two years running. He has spoken about education to the Congress of Deputies and at several universities. As well as appearing on national television, he was invited to speak at the World Congress for the Rights of Children and Adolescents about how society is in need of ideas and input from children.
